While I do my best to be accurate and pray that the Lord offers me discernment in my writing, inevitably I will be wrong on some matters. Therefore I implore anyone reading this blog to compare what I say to Holy Scripture. Don't believe me; believe the Bible!

More on Todd Bentley

If you have an hour’s worth of time to spare, I’d highly suggest walking through this video series posted on YouTube. I’m not sure what if I completely agree with every point the poster brings up, but he does certainly raise some interesting questions. I’ve posted part one below.

7 Responses

  1. Just bringing things up divide the church. JUNK and lies!!!

  2. Actually, it is Todd Bentley who is causing division in the church through his false and disturbing teaching.

Now I urge you, brethren, keep your eye on those who cause dissensions and hindrances contrary to the teaching which you learned, and turn away from them. (Romans 16:17)

  3. Sooo…if someone walks into your church, and insists that sacrificing children is what God wants us to do…then you wouldn’t “bring it up” because bringing things up is all junk and lies? Hmm. That’s how false doctrines get started…no one wants to “bring it up”. The Bible has a whole lot to say about false prophets and teachers, but everyone wants to gloss over that part. They’re out there, whether you like it or not. So where are they? We’ve supposedly got every other event in the Bible going on…raising the dead and healing people. Prophecies by the hundreds, yet not one of these “prophecies” are the ones mentioned in the Bible? Where’d they go? oh wait, found them…but I wouldn’t want to bring it up.

  4. That is a good point, Lorikate. We are to exercise discernment against what we hear preached. To not use the God-given gift of discernment is to open yourself up to all sorts of spiritual poisons.

  5. Mark 9:1 AND JESUS said to them, Truly {and} solemnly I say to you, there are some standing here who will in no way taste death before they see the kingdom of God come in [its] power.

Mark 9:7 And a cloud threw a shadow upon them, and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is My Son, the [most dearworthy] Beloved One. Be constantly listening to {and} obeying Him!
Mark 9:8 And looking around, they suddenly no longer saw anyone with them except Jesus only.

Mark 9:17 And one of the throng replied to Him, Teacher, I brought my son to You, for he has a dumb spirit.
Mark 9:18 And wherever it lays hold of him [so as to make him its own], it dashes him down {and} convulses him, and he foams [at the mouth] and grinds his teeth, {and} he [falls into a motionless stupor and] is wasting away. And I asked Your disciples to drive it out, and they were not able [to do it].
Mark 9:19 And He answered them, O unbelieving generation [without any faith]! How long shall I [have to do] with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him to Me.
Mark 9:33 And they arrived at Capernaum; and when [they were] in the house, He asked them, What were you discussing {and} arguing about on the road?
Mark 9:34 But they kept still, for on the road they had discussed {and} disputed with one another as to who was the greatest.
Mark 9:35 And He sat down and called the Twelve [apostles], and He said to them, If anyone desires to be first, he must be last of all, and servant of all.
Mark 9:36 And He took a little child and put him in the center of their group; and taking him in [His] arms, He said to them,
Mark 9:37 Whoever in My name {and} for My sake accepts {and} receives {and} welcomes one such child also accepts {and} receives {and} welcomes Me; and whoever so receives Me receives not only Me but Him Who sent Me.
Mark 9:38 John said to Him, Teacher, we saw a man who does not follow along with us driving out demons in Your name, and we forbade him to do it, because he is not one of our band [of Your disciples].
Mark 9:39 But Jesus said, Do not restrain {or} hinder {or} forbid him; for no one who does a mighty work in My name will soon afterward be able to speak evil of Me.
Mark 9:40 For he who is not against us is for us.
Mark 9:41 For I tell you truly, whoever gives you a cup of water to drink because you belong to {and} bear the name of Christ will by no means fail to get his reward.
Mark 9:42 And whoever causes one of these little ones (these believers) who acknowledge {and} cleave to Me to stumble {and} sin, it would be better (more profitable and wholesome) for him if a [huge] millstone were hung about his neck, and he were thrown into the sea.

Mark 9:49 For everyone shall be salted with fire.

Mark 9:50 Salt is good (beneficial), but if salt has lost its saltness, how will you restore [the saltness to] it? Have salt within yourselves, and be at peace {and} live in harmony with one another.

Now recently, this week with Todd Bentley’s divorce announcement, I was reminded when I was a at week long seminar decades ago and the preacher was preaching great and I admit I started to hero worship the preacher but on the last Friday afternoon session the preacher had preached some falsehood.. and I was drastically horrified, dismayed, as to how this could be, could his whole week’s teaching now also be in error. Next I prayed and asked God how could that be? why did it occur? and God replied to me ” you had taken your eyes of me unto the preacher, and I had to show you what he, the preacher was really like.. many look up to man and not God.. we all need to focus solely on Jesus again and always.. .and even to get back to praying and fasting now too

  6. Thenoncomformer, you’re completely correct that we must look to Jesus instead of men. We can trust in godly teachers and solid preachers, but ultimately, we must realize that they are fallible men just as we. Being vulnerable to temptation and sin we must pray for them earnestly.

That being said, Scripture lays out several qualifications for being in ministry. According to 1 Timothy 3:2, a pastor or elder must be the “husband of one wife”. Bentley has flatly failed in this area, thereby permanently disqualifying himself from all ministry.

His sin is also further evidence of him being a false teacher. According to Jesus in Matthew 7:

“Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they? So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So then, you will know them by their fruits.”

So I ask, is adultery a good or bad fruit?

This article is about deception Todd and others……
“God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods,” (Psa. 82).
PATRICIA KING – New Mystics ~ The New Breed ~ (The Word Mystic means: Shaman, sage, medium spiritualist, magic, paranormal), mystical presence of their god.
    Ps 82:1
“God standeth in the assembly of God.” God is among his people; and he presides especially in those courts of justice which himself has established. The Court of King’s Bench is properly the place where the king presides, and where he is supposed to be always present.

This one is of interest to me because when it happened, the Late Irene Park, The Witch that Switched and I tried to expose her as a fraud. My newsletter circulated in Texas and Oklahoma. While I Irene went to Pastor John Osteen and told him. My sister witches and I used to go into the Christian Churches in Key West and faked the stigmata sign. We took chicken livers into the palms of our hands, squeezed them and dug our finger nails into our palms which caused them to appear as if they were bleeding.” Irene snickered and said, “The people would bow down and worship us like we were gods. We’d just laugh at them.
Although Irene had ministered many times in John Osteen’s church, he rejected her and her testimony concerning Lucy Rael. She opened a special meeting in a hotel nearby. Many came to her meeting because she was also well known having appeared on PTL and the 700 Club Televisions.
Irene told us that she taught on the “Blood of Jesus,” And said that many of the women left the meeting. Irene and I became “black sheep” among the Charismatic leadership and they told people to reject our ministries. Of course, when the children’s television minister, Willie George took a camera to Lucy Rael’s meeting and exposed her deceptions, no one ever replied to us or thanked us for our concern for the blinded Christians wellbeing.
For decades, Lucy Rael’s life and ministry have been marked by supernatural signs, demonstrating a powerful witness that has led countless souls away from believing on the Lord for salvation. She has also shared the stage with greats such as A.A. Allen, Kenneth Hagin, and other signs and wonders forerunners.
This is witchcraft, mystical practice that came into the church in the 90,s.
Again, I attended a gold dust meeting to see what was happening. I wrote a few articles on it and I knew the gold dust phenomena was being produced by voodoo, familiar spirits, and deceptive spirits that were operating to blind believers.
Channel Four of Jacksonville, Florida had the gold dust examined and it turned out to be “flaked gold cellophane.” According to Silvania, she had four kinds of cancer and green stuff was seeping out of her pours. She went to a “voodoo hospital” and the “Doctor” told her to go to a certain “church” and within three days, she would be healed! She claimed that she was healed and the green stuff ceased manifesting and a sweet aroma appeared. Then she claimed the gold dust appeared and began flowing from her hair and pours. Ruth Heflin came to Brazil and brought this mystical woman to America. They spread this new doctrine throughout the Charismatic Movement in America. Ruth Heflin died of cancer.
Silvania, is a woman who reportedly sheds gold dust and oozes oil. Was promoted by the late Ruth Heflin, and embraced by many people within today’s controversial renewal and revival movements.
